About the Project
We are excited to announce that GreenSHADES has partnered with environmentally conscious architects, designers and builders to provide alternative and sustainable residential housing and commercial buildings. The project includes green building materials, solar energy, rainwater recapture and urban gardening.
I was invited to meet the designer and Project Managers of the largest shipping container in North America- 83 Freight. Kudos and hats off to this unique multi-family micro-home model, called 83 Freight, was constructed using 173 shipping containers. The community consists of studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments. The containers were upcycled into an apartment complex led by an amazing team, which included Jeremy Payton (CEO of Capital City Construction) and FMBC Investment & Builders of Nashville, Tennessee.
